Just a small tidbit….
Although news is sparse, GKFG did crank-in on 3-16-06 as officially announced by BOF. Yay!
Haha – of all people, leave it up to my marvelous, knowledgeable taxi driver to fill me in on the details. Since the evening of the 16th March, filming commenced on location at an area of Jeju known as Dai-yoo Land – it's a huge plot of land with a main central rifle club and ATV terrain. There is no "set" per se - specifically, they are using the fields of the ATV terrain for filming. My non-knowledge of Korean has been a challenge to communication here, but the gist of it is that shooting is scheduled for the evenings/nights through the 19th here for now. Apparently, they are working on the scenes re:birth/early days of Damdeok and involving mostly the children/women cast for now.

(Outside the rifle club)This is actually really near where I am staying in Jeju – at night, you can see those big shafts of light glowing out of the otherwise dark lands surrounded by forest! It is so curious to see that without knowing what's happening there!! Of course, no one is allowed near.
